Emma Winowich

R.A.D. Ballet, Pointe Training & Open Ballet Technique

Emma began her ballet training in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where she studied the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) syllabus from a young age. While ballet was always her passion, she also enjoyed exploring other dance styles throughout her training. Emma attended numerous summer intensives at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, where she continued to deepen her love and understanding of classical technique. She successfully completed her R.A.D. Advanced 2 examination before going on to earn her R.A.D. Teaching Certificate.

Over the past six years, Emma has gained valuable experience teaching ballet to students of all ages and levels. She is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment in every class she teaches. Emma believes that anyone can learn to dance ballet and finds great joy in helping each student discover their potential and confidence through movement.

Emma is now based in Vancouver, where she completed her degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She looks forward to continuing her academic journey by pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology while continuing to share her passion for dance with her students. We are delighted to have Emma join the NSAD Team!
