Lyrical technique is a popular style of dance portrayed in films and television. Continuous gentle flowing technical movements, which blend smoothly from one to the next to interpret the music tempos and beauty of the style in this popular genre.

Lyrical Performance Groups

We offer multiple levels of Lyrical Performance Groups, these groups work on a dance routine throughout the year and compete at three dance competitions during the Spring Season. These groups also have multiple performance opportunities as such two annual recitals and community events.

New students will be required to participate in May auditions, or audition on the first day of classes in September. Advanced Lyrical

Advanced Lyrical Classes are for students enrolled within the NSAD Performance Program. The advanced lyrical classes work on the complex steps, technique and combinations of movement required for performances.
