To help develop a lifelong passion for dance, we inspire our preschoolers through a comprehensive program that includes balle, creative hip hop and Broadway Jazz. For detailed descriptions of each of these classes, see below. To view our 2023/2024 schedule, click here. 

Preschool Ballet 3-4 YRS and 4-5 YRS

The R.A.D. Pre-School Dance Curriculum develops basic movement skills, musical awareness, expression and creativity. Themed classes encourage student participation, focus and confidence that prepare students for entry to the Pre-Primary levels. This fun ballet class is a great introduction to dance, where students will learn to explore and express through ballet movements in a rewarding and safe environment with the use of imagination, props and performance.

Creative Hip Hop 5-6 yrs

A great introduction to dance for this age group is provided with this fun and lively classes. Fundamental hip hop moves are taught which develop a strong sense of rhythm, musicality and coordination. Creative imagination and movements are incorporated to enhance the foundations of dance and provide a safe and upbeat environment. This class is a popular style for 5-6 year olds!

Broadway Jazz 5-6 yrs

An upbeat jazz class with a Broadway flare all while learning the foundational steps of dance. This class will explore storytelling through expression, acting gestures and dance steps. Themed classes encourage student participation, focus and confidence; exercises will incorperate the use of imagination, props and performance presence. Dancers will explore rhythm, develop musicality and gain coordination in a safe and upbeat environment.
